wATERPROOFING fOUNTAINS AND pLANTER bOXES

CIM high-performance coatings and linings provide the perfect solution for watertight containment and adhere to a variety of substrates.

Our materials perform exceptionally well under continuous immersion and are able to conform to shapes and contours with ease. The impermeable barrier is easily applied around penetrations creating a seamless lining that is VOC compliant, ultraviolet (UV) stable and fish friendly. CIM materials are also resistant to chemicals used to treat ponds and fountains.

Waterproofing applications with CIM materials include:

Pedestrian decksParking decksPlanter boxes
Below grade waterproofingWater storage tanksMembrane terminations
Between slab waterproofingJoint and crack repairRunway repair
Green roofsFlat roofsHelicopter Pads
Shower pansPlaza decksPodium decks

chemical containment

CIM high-performance coatings and linings provide corrosion protection in many severe chemical environments.

These materials are resistant to abrasion and corrosion. The tough and flexible coating that meets and exceeds the most stringent environmental regulations. CIM products are ultraviolet (UV) stable, a volatile organic compound (VOC) compliant and possess excellent crack bridging capabilities.

Common Chemical Containment uses of CIM materials:

concrete waterproofing

CIM high-performance materials are used to waterproof critical spaces and provide long-term protection where other systems fail. As is the case with all CIM materials, they are easily applied and provide a durable, seamless elastomeric barrier that is both ultraviolet (UV) stable and volatile organic compound (VOC) compliant. CIM materials may be applied directly to many substrates including asphalt. This impermeable barrier easily guards against ponding water and immersion. CIM products are a liquid applied and will form to irregularly shaped surfaces and around penetrations. CIM products are very tough, often does not require drainage mat, protection course, and root barrier.

cooling tower basins

CIM high-performance coatings and linings are two component urethanes that cure to form an impermeable, corrosion-resistant rubber-like barrier.

The cured lining is able to bridge over cracks, gaps, holes, and seams and is commonly installed in distribution decks and collection basins, providing a corrosion resistant, impermeable barrier to cooling water.

CIM materials adhere tenaciously to substrates commonly found in cooling towers including stainless steel, galvanized steel, concrete, fiberglass, and previously coated surfaces.

CIM materials are not affected by water treatment chemicals and will not affect the water chemistry. It also has the advantage of reduced downtime. Unlike other coating systems for cooling towers, CIM materials are applied in a single application and may be placed into service within 24 hours.

Typical cooling tower applications:

Packaged towersCollection basinsIce storage tanks
Chilled water tanksField erected towersJoint & crack repair
